MG Motor India (MG Motor India) has now launched the updated MG Hector after introducing the new ZS EV with better battery packs and increased driving range. The British carmaker entered the Indian auto market with the Hector SUV in 2019 and the car became the choice of Indian customers. Now a lot of changes have been made to this SUV.
The 2021 MG Hector is available in four different trim options and its ex-showroom price starts at Rs 12.89 lakh. The ex-showroom price of a top-end model goes up to Rs 18.42 lakh. The ex-showroom price of CVT variants of MG Hector has been kept at Rs 16.51 lakh for Smart Trims and Rs 18.09 lakh for Sharp Trims.
CVT gearbox also in Hector Plus
MG has announced that the 6-seater Hector Plus (Hector Plus) has also received a new CVT gearbox. The ex-showroom price of two CVT trim options of Hector Plus has been fixed at Rs 17.21 lakh and Rs 18.89 lakh.
Since coming to the Indian market, the automaker has added products such as ZS EV, Gloster, and Hector Plus to its product portfolio. However, Hector is still the best model for the brand in the domestic market. Hector branded itself as an internet-connected car. Due to Hector's fresh style and superb connected car features, buyers took it to heart.
The MG Hector and Hector Plus 6-seater models are available with a 1.5-liter petrol engine with three transmission options. Along with this, a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine is also included in the car which is available only with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
