The much-awaited MG Astor SUV has been unveiled in India. In Astor, customers will get to see Artificial Intelligence technology which makes it different from any other vehicle in its segment. Along with this, customers will also get to see the voice command system in the Aster, with the help of which many important features of the SUV can be accessed. According to the information, this SUV is equipped with Lane Departure Prevention System which makes your drive more safe.
Most importantly, MG Astor's Personal Artificial Intelligence System will speak in the voice of Padma Shri and Arjuna Award winner Para Olympic Medalist Deepa Malik. Deepa Malik is a well-known athlete who has brought laurels to the country many times in the world.
There are two petrol engine options for the MG Astor - a 1.4-liter turbo-petrol that makes 140 hp and 220 Nm, and another 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated petrol that makes 110 hp and 144 Nm. Six-speed auto for 1.4 turbos, manual for 1.5 petrol, and CVT options.
The MG Astor will come with three steering feel modes - Normal, Urban, and Dynamic. These driving modes will vary the steering weight according to the preferences of the driver.
The MG Astor will be available in three interior color themes - Red and Black, Beige and Black, and All-Black. There is also a six-way power adjustment in the driver's seat. As standard, the MG Astor will get a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity along with the JioSaavn app for music/video streaming.
The MG Astor will be only the second MG SUV after the flagship Gloster to feature an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Astor will move forward, as it will have a Level 2 ADAS, as opposed to the Level 1 ADAS seen on Gloster.
