Will be available in three variants
Let us know that in the BS4 version, this SUV used to come with a 1.3-liter diesel engine, whereas now it will get a BS6 compliant 1.5-liter petrol engine. At the same time, dealers have also started its unofficial booking for 11 thousand rupees. This new car will be available in three variants. This includes Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. While the company has discontinued its Sigma variant.
Mild hybrid engine
The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross new car will have 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission options. The engine found in the S-Cross will come with Maruti's mild-hybrid technology, which offers functions such as torque boost and idol start-stop.
Ciaz, Ertiga and Vitara Brezza engines
The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross will get a 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine. This engine generates 105 PS of power and 138 NN of torque. The same engine is given in Ciaz, Ertiga, and Vitara Brezza.
All three variants of the updated S-Cross will be offered with manual and automatic transmission options. The starting price of BS6S-Cross is expected to be around Rs 9.90 lakh, which is about Rs 1 lakh more than the Ciaz Delta manual.
Will get new features
Let us know that the company showcased it at Auto Expo 2020 (Auto Expo 2020) in February this year. Maruti has already announced that it will not update its diesel vehicles to the new fuel standard. Now the company will focus on petrol, CNG and electric vehicles only. After the discontinuation of the diesel model of the S-Cross, now petrol will replace it.
