The country's leading automaker Mahindra & Mahindra is working on its new 7-seater SUV for India, the company has announced the name of this SUV today. In India, this upcoming 7-seater SUV will be known as the Mahindra 'XUV700'. Which is built on the W601 platform. The company says that this car will be named XUV700. The point to note here is that the company is not renaming its XUV500 to the Xuv700, instead, a new SUV will be launched.
Velusamy, Mahindra's head of global product development, said, "that this car is designed with passion by a young team. The XUV portfolio was always present with models such as the XUV 500 and Xuv 300. Now setting new benchmarks The car will be launched. The XUV700 will be built on the new global SUV platform, the W601, which will offer many special technologies and features.

The Mahindra XUV700 SUV will be equipped with "Sci-Fi technology" with superior features in several segments. There is currently no information about the engine options and specs of the Mahindra XUV700. But the company says that this upcoming Mahindra SUV will be offered with both petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic transmissions as well as optional all-wheel-drive (AWD).
The XUV700 will be manufactured by the company at its Chakan facility in Pune Maharashtra. Which can be launched this year near the festive season. Let us tell you that the company has also recently launched its new Safari, which is getting a tremendous response in the Indian market. At the moment, it is too early to say anything about the price of this SUV. However, it will compete with Hyundai Alcazar when launched in India.
