The price drop of Revolt RV400, the only bike in the name of electric bike in India, has been announced. The company has reduced the price of RV400 by Rs 28,200, after which its price has gone up to Rs 90,799. It is worth noting here that the company's electric bike lineup consists of two vehicles, with the RV 400 being a top-end variant and the RV 300 as the base variant. But the company has not made any announcement regarding the prices of RV300.
Booking closed in just 2 hours: Let us inform you that the company has announced to reopen bookings for RV400 and RV300 from noon on 18th June. The booking amount for these bikes has been fixed at Rs 7,999 and Rs 7,199 respectively. The booking of the bike was closed within just two hours of opening. The company said that there is a huge response from the people behind the closure of the booking.
Driving Range and Special Features: Talking about the Revolt RV400, this bike uses a 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery, which is equipped with a 3kW electric motor. The bike offers a maximum riding range of 156 km on a single charge (claimed). The top speed of the motorcycle is up to 85km/h. Highlights of the bike include MyRevolt mobile app connectivity, geofencing, customized exhaust sound, battery status, LED headlamps with three riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport, LED taillights, and a fully digital instrument cluster.
What is the reason: Recently, the Government of India has increased the FAME II subsidy of battery packs used in electric scooters from Rs 10,000 per kWh to Rs 15,000 per kWh. Under which the subsidy has been increased by 50 percent. In this sequence, many electric two-wheeler manufacturers have also cut the price of their scooters.
