The Italian automaker is planning to launch a new scooter in India. According to the report, the new scooter will be SXR 125cc. Which will be launched soon. At present, there are reports of the price of this scooter leaking before the launch on the internet. It is being said that the company will launch for Rs 1.16 lakh.
This means that this scooter will be around Rs 9,000 cheaper than the Aprilia SXR160. However, this scooter will be made available on pre-order in India only. If you are interested in purchasing, you can book for just Rs 5,000 by visiting the official website of Aprilia India.
The Aprilia SXR 125 will be powered by a 124cc single-cylinder four-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC, three-valve engine. This motor will generate a maximum power output of 9 bhp at 7,600 rpm as well as a torque of 9.2 Nm at 6,200 rpm. Also, a hydraulic double telescopic unit and a hydraulic shock will be used in it.
For braking, Aprilia will equip the upcoming Maxi scooter in India with 220 mm disc brakes with a Combi braking system and a 140 mm drum brake in the rear. Talking about the design, its design features integrated LED DRLS, a tinted visor, 12-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, and exhaust headlamps like the older brother Aprilia SXR160.
Apart from this, its other features list will include a multifunctional digital speedometer, a USB charging port, etc. It is to be noted here that no announcement has been made regarding the launch date of this scooter in India. But it is believed that the company will present it in the next few months.
