Now there are reports of release on April 1 but the jail administration did not say anything. There was also speculation that he would be released on January 26, but Sidhu did not get relief.

The Supreme Court sentenced them to one year and surrendered in the court on May 20, 2022. Sidhu has not taken any parole yet, but may get it
