Assembly Election Results: BJP gets a majority in Tripura, the coalition government in Meghalaya, Nagaland

 

The beginning of the year 2023 has been good for the BJP, along with it the festival of colors has also brought happiness for the BJP. Electorally the good news for the BJP is that the BJP has wiped out the Congress in the North East elections and has won a majority on its own in Tripura.

On the other hand, in Meghalaya and Nagaland, BJP is going to form the government along with its allies. At present, apart from Tripura, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur is ruled by the BJP and its allies.

Talking about the results of all three states, BJP has got 33 seats in Tripura, Left-Congress 14, and TMP 13. NDPP and BJP alliance got 37 seats in Nagaland. NPF got only 2 seats. Others have got 21 seats in their account. Talking about Meghalaya, a hung assembly has been formed here. NPP has become the largest party. Its account has gone to 26 seats, while BJP has managed to win 3 seats. Congress got five seats.
