Joshimath: Union Home Ministry team will visit Joshimath, people are being made to vacate their houses

 

The situation is getting worse these days in Joshimath, Uttarakhand. The situation is such that it is becoming difficult for people to survive. In many areas of Joshimath, for some time suddenly cracks are coming into the houses and there is water. In such a situation, people are being afraid that their houses can be ruined anytime.

Here, a team of the Union Home Ministry will visit Joshimath today, where the landslide took place. A team from the Ministry of Jal Shakti has already visited Joshimath and a team from Union Home Ministry will visit Joshimath on Tuesday.

Along with this, it is also known that under the supervision of the team of Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee, the work of demolishing dilapidated buildings will be started. 

The areas where the buildings will be demolished have been declared unsafe zones by the administration and vacated. Meanwhile, District Disaster Management Authority Chamoli has issued a bulletin related to disaster management in view of landslides happening in the Joshimath area.
