ZTE Blade A2 launched with fingerprint sensor


Technology: Chinese telecommunication firm ZTE ha launched its new budget smartphone ZTE Blade A2. The smartphone is priced at CNY 699 (approx Rs 7000) will be available in silver, gray and gold colour variants. The company will go on sale from June 15 and the smartphone is available to buy in China on JD.com.

ZTE Blade A2 comes with 360 degree fingerprint sensor. The company claims that this sensor will unlock the smartphone in about 0.3 seconds.

The device features a 5-inch HD IPS 2.5D display with a 1280X720 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor paired with 2GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It also includes a 360-degree fingerprint sensor.

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop, the Blade A2 comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 5MP front facing camera. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and microUSB. A 2500mAh battery completes the package.
