Dhoni has taken this decision on Wednesday to make the match “a perfect end” to the ODI series against Zimbabwe in Harare.
India has won the series with two back-to-back wins, the opportunity of a whitewash now beckons the Men in Blue.
A win on Wednesday will give India a third successive series clean-sweep after the triumphs in 2013 and 2015.
Dhoni has made changes in the list of the players. He had given enough hints on changes in the playing eleven after two easy wins against the Zimbawe.
The opener Lokesh Rahul had made a memorable score on his ODI debut and he is number three after Ambati Rayudu. The two have by far faced the most number of balls, 165 and 164 respectively.
In fast bowling, Dhoni can rest either on Barinder Sran, Dhawal Kulkarni or Jasprit Bumrah as all three performed their roles well in the earlier games.
