Youth died as security forces started gunfire during stone pelting in Kashmir


Kashmir: A 22-year-old man killed in a gunfire carried out by security forces on stone-pelting group in Rangreth area of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

As per the police official, a mob of youth started throwing stones on the security forces’ vehicles at Rangreth. Later, security personnel began firing to disperse the strikers in which one person was wounded.

The youth has been identified as Nazir Ahmad. Immediately after the attack, he was taken to the SKIMS hospital at Soura to undergone treatment.

In the attack, a policeman got wounded in a terrorist attack that took place in Srinagar. He suffered several injuries on Friday.

On Thursday evening, two policemen involving the victim Constable Sajad Ahmad were wounded when the terrorists started gunfire at a checkpost in Hyderpora area of Jammu and Kashmir.

The wounded policemen were hospitalized. Later, Ahmad lost his lives on Friday.
