Two-wheeler manufacturer Yamaha has launched 2018 model of YZF-R1 bike in Indian markets. The USP of this bike is that it comes with Quick Shift System (QSS) feature. Customers will be able to purchase bike in skim black and blue color options. The bike involves price tag of 20.73 lakhs in Delhi. As per the company, this bike will compete with Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10, Suzuki GSX-R1000, Honda CBR1000RR (Fireblade) in India.
Coming to its features, this bike provides compact chassis magnesium rear frame, long swing arm and magnesium wheels. The bike has 998cc, liquid cooled engine, which generates a power of 200PS at 13,500rpm and a pickup torque of 112.4Nm at 11,500rpm.
Also, there is a latest lift control system which utilizes the 6-hub ECU to adjust sufficient power conveyance to the back so as to keep away from unexpected wheelies. The 2018 R1 accompanies a kerb weight of 199 kg, which gives it an incredible power-to-weight proportion.
