Two-wheeler manufacturer Yamaha set to launch the new Fazer 250 in India on August 21, 2017. The Japanese maker Fazer 250 is based on the naked street Yamaha FZ25 and is a full-faired variant of Yamaha’s quarter-litre motorcycle.
The bike shares few components with the FZ25, counting the instrument panel, exhaust, taillight and LED headlamp. The cycle parts, counting the wheels, suspension, chassis and brakes also shared with the FZ25. The new bike motorized by the similar engine – the 249 cc, fuel-injected unit of the FZ25 which makes 20 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 20 Nm at 6,000 rpm.
The engine is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is likely to gain 10kg to 15kg with the addition of fairing. The bike attains a comfortable ride quality, great road manners and decent top-end speed for the occasional highway ride and is predictable to have those qualities same as the FZ25, but the count of the fairing and windscreen up front is predictable to add to the FZ25’s 148 kg kerb weight.
The Yamaha Fazer 250 been spotted numerous times over the precedent few weeks, so already commenced despatching the bike in limited numbers to dealerships crossways the nation and also priced at Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), and we anticipate the Fazer 250 be priced at a slight premium, but below Rs 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
