Xiaomi unveils crowd funded MIJIA 1080p PTZ camera


Chinese maker Xiaomi introduced its new pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera and is priced at RMB 149 (around Rs 1,500). This new budget camera extends its home security essential product portfolio and will be limited to China markets for now. From 15th September the corporation will begin shipping camera in China. Xiaomi is not known for making MIJIA products accessible outside the nation.

The new MIJIA PTZ camera reaches crossways as an upgrade to the formerly introducved HD (720p) PTZ camera for RMB 199 (aroundRs 1900). The smart camera can be related mutually with Android and iOS devices. The camera supports WiFi and USB port and uses microSD card or USB flash drives up to 32GB for storage space. The camera can be connected to a cloud server or network attached storage space device and uses a power source of a DC 5V/2A via a port at the rear.
