Xiaomi unveiled latest edition of Redmi 4A on Tuesday in Indian markets. The handset comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage. The price of handset is Rs. 6,999. The customers can purchase cellphone from Mi.com, Flipkart, Amazon India, Paytm, and Tata CliQ from Thursday.
As per Manu Kumar Jain, vice president of Xiaomi stated, “Surprise! We are launching a new variant of Redmi 4A (3GB RAM + 32 GB flash memory) at an amazing price of Rs. 6,999.”
Earlier, the company unveiled Xiaomi Redmi 4A handset in India at Rs. 5,999 and it was unveiled in China in the month of November in 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variant. The cellphone involves polycarbonate body, hybrid dual-SIM card slot. The handset runs on MIUI 8 based Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The cellphone involves 5-inch HD display, 720×1280 pixel resolution. The handset is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with the Adreno 308 GPU.
Coming to its specifications, it boasts 13-megapixel sensor that comes with PDAF, a 5-lens system, an f/2.2 aperture, LED flash. On the front, it features 5-megapixel sensor that comes with f/2.2 aperture. The storage of handset can be easily expandable to up to 128GB using microSD card .
Other connectivity options involve 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1. It also boasts accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, infrared, and proximity. Latest Xiaomi smartphone measures 139.5×70.4×8.5mm, weighs 131.5 grams. The cellphone is powered by a 3120mAh battery.
