Xiaomi to unveil Redmi Note 5 with 18:9 display soon


Chinese smartphone maker company Xiaomi is all set to unveil Redmi Note 5 handset in the market soon. It was said earlier that the company will launch bezel-less smartphone Mi Mix 2 but now the company has shun all the rumors. The upcoming handset will come up with18: 9 aspect ratio.

The leaks on Chinese certification site TENAA revealed that Xiaomi will soon come up with Redmi Note 5. The specifications of Redmi Note 5 handset was leaked in the month of July earlier. The latest report disclosed that the handset will involve fingerprint sensor located at the back and it will be powered by Snapdragon 660.

The cellphone is likely to boast dual 16MP rear camera and on the front 5MP camera to take selfie.

As per Redmi Note 5 features, the cellphone features 5.5-inch full HD display. It operates on Android Nougat-based MIUI 9 OS. The smartphone boasts 4000mAh battery. The leaks revealed that Redmi Note 5 handset will be launched in three variants including 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The cellphone will involve price tag of $175 (approx Rs 11,338), $205 (approx Rs 13,281) and $220 (approx Rs 14,253) respectively.
