Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has recently unveiled Redmi 4 smartphone in India few days back. The sale of handset will start on e-commerce platform Amazon India and Mi.com from 12pm tomorrow.
Coming to its specifications, Xiaomi Redmi 4 includes 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage variant and it is priced at Rs. 6,999. The other variant of this handset 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant costs Rs. 8,999. The third variant 4GB RAM/ 64GB carries a price tag of Rs. 10,999. These variants can be purchased in Matte Black and Elegant Gold colour variants.
Redmi 4 variant which was launched in China is not similar to the recent phone that is released in India. The handset is powered by Snapdragon 435 chipset. The cellphone contains dual-SIM (Micro+Nano) slot, it runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It boasts an all-metal body and a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. It features 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. The smartphone is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB of RAM.
Talking about its camera qualities, Redmi 4 cellphone boasts 13-megapixel rear camera that comes with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash. It has 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture on the front. The handset can be purchased in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB inbuilt storage options.
Other Connectivity options involve 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, Bluetooth v4.1, and 3.5mm audio jack. The handset measures 139.2×69.6.x8.6mm and weighs 150 grams. The handset is powered by a 4100mAh battery.
