Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 smartphone to unveil with fingerprint scanner inside display


Chinese Smartphone Maker Xiaomi is all set to come up with Mi Mix 2 smartphone soon. The latest leak on Chinese website revealed that upcoming Mi Mix 2 smartphone will unveil with fingerprint scanner that will be placed inside the display.

Earlier, when Xiaomi Mi Mix smartphone was unveiled, the company claimed it a concept phone but it featured ceramic body. The USP of this phone was the front panel that includes extraordinary display and contains 91.3 per cent screen-to-body ratio.

On the social media handle, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun declared that Mi Mix 2 smartphone will unveil soon with fingerprint scanner.

Apart from Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, apple’s iPhone 8 will come up with fingerprint scanner located inside the display.

Company Xiaomi will collaborate with designer Phillipe Starck to work on Mi Mix 2 smartphone. On Chinese website, Xiaomi’s Lei Jun shared that both parties will survey how quickly they can bring Starck’s plan to realism.

Mi Mix smartphone depends on cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic technology to change the earpiece speaker.

Coming to Mi Mix specifications, the handset is powered by Snapdragon 821 processor, it comes with 4GB RAM and contains 128GB of internal memory. It boasts 16-megapixel main camera and on the front, it includes 5-megapixel camera to take selfies.

The white version of Xiaomi Mi Mix smartphone will be unveiled at CES 2017.
