Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi set to launch the new Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 in India today. At the launch event in New Delhi on Monday, online trader Flipkart released theat the new smartphone will be exclusively accessible in India on its own platform. The highlight of the new smartphone is its bezel-less display.
The new Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 introduecd in 3RAM and storage space version – 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage space at CNY 3,299 (around Rs. 32,300), 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage space reaches with a price tag of CNY 3,599 (aroung Rs. 35,300), and 6GB RAM/ 256GB storage space will be priced at CNY 3,999 (around Rs. 39,200). The corporation had launched the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Special Edition 8GB of RAM, 128GB storage space, and a full ceramic body, at CNY 4,699 (around Rs. 46,000).
Talking about the features, the new Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 sports a 5.99-inch full-HD (1080×2160 pixels, 18:9 aspect ratio) LCD display with a pixel density of 403ppi, assists for DCI-P3 colour gamut and no ‘upper lip’ above display.
The new smartphone has a frame built out of 7-Series aluminium apart from an 18K gold plated camera ring and also has ‘hidden sound-guided speaker’ that resonates sound through the display and frame, totally hiding the speaker itself. It is a dual-SIM smartphone (Nano-SIM) and a Snapdragon 660 SoC, 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
The dual rear camera comprises two 12-megapixel sensors, one with an f/1.8 wide-angle lens and another with an f/2.6 telephoto lens, offering 4-axis OIS. It has 16-megapixel front camera with 2-micron pixels, up to 128GB of inbuilt storage space that isn’t expandable via microSD card.
The smartphone further packs 3500mAh battery and the connectivity options comprise 4G VoLTE support, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C.
The board sensors comprise accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, an infrared sensor, and proximity sensor and measures 152.6×73.95×7.6mm and weigh 163 grams.
