Chinese smartphone maker company Xiaomi is all set to unveil Mi Max 2 smartphone at an event that will be held at 11:30am IST today. The teaser of handset was released by the company few days back.
One can watch live streaming of event from the company’s official page. Earlier, the company unveiled handset in China in the month of May in two storage variants – 64GB and 128 GB. The cellphones has a price tag of CNY 1,699 (approx Rs. 16,000) and CNY 1,999 (approx Rs. 19,000).
Coming to its specifications, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has dual-SIM (Nano+Micro) slot, it runs on MIUI 8 based Android Nougat 6.0. It includes 6.44-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The handset involves fingerprint scanner on the back panel. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC and involves 4GB of RAM.
Talking about Mi Max 2 camera details, the cellphone has 12-megapixel rear camera that comes with Sony IMX386 sensor, PDAF and dual-LED flash. The handset features 5-megapixel camera on the front to take selfies. Other connectivity options involve 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac , GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, infrared, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
