Chinese smartphone maker company Xiaomi has slashed the price of Mi Max 2 smartphone. The company unveiled this handset in the month of July this year. Now, the cellphone can be purchased at Rs 13,999.
Xiaomi VP and Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain wrote, “BIG now costs less! Announcing a permanent price drop of Rs. 1000 on both variants on #MiMax2”.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 cellphone comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage and 64 GB of internal storage. The handset has Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 15,999 rates respectively.
On the other hand, e-commerce company Flipkart is providing offer of Rs. 15,000 in exchange of cellphone.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 handset involves 6.44-inch IPS display that comes with a pixel resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect the screen. The cellphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC with an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU,Adreno 506 GPU.
Talking about its camera, the handset comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash. On the front, it involves 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens. The cellphone comes with 5300mAh battery and operates on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.
The company is all set to unveil new selfie-centric smartphone in India on November 3.
