Chinese smartphone maker company Xiaomi India is all set to unveil Mi 5X smartphone in the markets soon. The director of Xiaomi Manu Kumar Jain revealed that its first dual-camera phone will be launched in India in the month of September.
On twitter, Manu Kumar Jain wrote, “Can’t wait for you guys to check out Xiaomi’s first dual-camera phone in India! Coming next month! Can you guess which one?”
To remember, the company unveiled in the month of July. The handset boasts dual-SIM (Nano) slot, it features 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) LTPS display. The cellphone runs MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at up to 2GHz. It has 4GB of RAM.
Coming to its specifications, Xiaomi Mi 5X handset has dual rear camera setup that comes with one 12-megapixel wide-angle lens that supports 1.25-micron pixel sensor and f/2.2 aperture. It involves 12-megapixel telephoto lens that comes with 1-micron pixel sensor and f/2.6 aperture. On the front, the handset includes 5-megapixel camera that supports real-time beautification.
Xiaomi Mi 5X includes 64GB of built-in storage that can be expandable to up to 128GB using microSD card. Other connectivity options involve 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone incorporates 3080mAh battery. It measures 155.4×75.8×7.3mm and weighs 165grams.
Xiaomi Mi 5X included the price tag of CNY 1,499 (approx Rs. 14,200). It had gone on sale in Black, Gold and Pink colour variants.
