Technology: Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has unveiled electric foldable bike Mi QiCycle in China on Thursday. Priced at CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs 30000) is made of carbon fibre and weight just 14.5 kg.
The Qicycle Electric Folding Bike is fitted with a huge Panasonic lithium 18650 mAh battery with BMS battery management technology. Xiaomi claims that the bike can go to 45-50 km on a single charge and the battery takes around 3 hrs to get fully charged.
It is powered by a 250W 36V high-speed electric motor and also comes with a driving motor and 3-speed transmission. QiCycle uses gear shift tech with three modes- easy, standard and fast.
It also comes with app that logs your distance, speed, GPS location, calories burned, and more. This can also be connection to your smartphone app.
At present the Xiaomi Qicycle Electric Folding smart Bike is available only in China as of now and there is no news as yet to its availability in other parts of the world.
