Xiaomi CEO confirms that Xiaomi Mi Band 2 to Go on Sale in China on June 7


New Delhi : Few weeks ago the roumor of launching Xiaomi Mi Band 2 are on top but now, Xiaomi CEO Jun Lei had hinted at an early June release of the Mi Band 2. Now, he has confirmed that the Mi Band 2 will go on sale on June 7. Xiaomi's much awaited second generation Mi Band fitness tracker will be available for purchase in China starting June 7. There is no official word on the availability of the Mi Band 2 in India. Now lets talk about Mi Band 2 features.

he Mi Band 2 comes with an LCD screen along with a round physical button. Following the first generation model, the Mi Band 2 could allow users to unlock their smartphones remotely. It will likely be able to display information such as time, date, step count, heart rate and calorie count, in addition to notifications for calls and messages. Also, it would be interesting to see if Xiaomi adds support for music and call control in the Mi Band 2. Recently, Xiaomi also launched a new health-tracking device called iHealth Box. It basically measures body vitals like blood pressure and heart beat, and connects to the phone via Wi-Fi. The device has a 4.3-inch colour screen and costs CNY 399, translating to about Rs 4,000. But now There is no official word as to whether the iHealth box will be launched in India or not.
