World Book Fair 2018 Starts From Today In Delhi


The World Book Fair has started in Delhi from today at Pragati Maidan. This book fair will open from January 6 to January 14 in the first week of January. This is the 26th edition of Book Fair.

As per the reports, the publishers from around the world will sell their book in this fair. Earlier, this fair was held in 1972 in Windsor Place, in which 200 participants took part. It’s been happening since 45 years. This book fair is organized by National Book Trust India.

2018’s book fair theme is based on ‘Manushi’. Beliving the results of climate change and in a proffer to encourage the same, 2018’s theme of book exhibition is “Environment & Climate Change”

The fair also observes involvement from several renowned publishing houses across the world. As per the reports, nearly 35 countries will take part in it. Pakistan publisher would be taking part in the fair in 2018. Pakistan publisher one stall has been setup in the fair. In 2017 also, only one distributor from Pakistan took part in the book exhibition.
