Women’s Day Special: Be stubborn to follow your dream says Preeti Yadav


On this beautiful occasion of Women’s day we are here with an inspirational story which will motivate each and every girl to live their dreams. Preeti Yadav (18), a volleyball player, shared her journey from a commerce student to a State-Level champion of volleyball player in a short interview.

Here are some more information which she has given us in an interview :

Q : Your Journey from being a student to a State-Level Volleyball Player?

ANS : From starting I used to be a sports person, as I have so much interest in sports and particularly in volleyball. So when I was in 9th standard I realized that I should go for Volleyball. I played my first tournament which was inter school competition. But being a girl i faced too many hurdles so far, no support from family, no female coach for practice , pressure from family to go for studies rather than playing volleyball.

Q : What are your qualifications

ANS : I have done my 12th from Vidyasthali Public School and perusing my B.COM from St.Wilfred Collage Jaipur.

Q :  Your achievements in your sports career ?

ANS : I have won my First Inter-School-Competition, than I have won Districts level competition than state level.

Q :  Where do you draw your inspiration from??

ANS : lavmeet Katariya, an international player from Rajasthan, is my inspiration.

Q : Tell us about your background ?

ANS : There is no one is in sports from my family as I belong to a business family.

Q: What do you want to become in your life?

ANS: I want to become an international volleyball coach

Q: Did your family support you to achieve you goal ?

ANS: They are little bit moody, sometimes they support me but sometimes they don’t and force me to go for studies.

Q: Any Message to inspire youth?

ANS: let’s hurdles don’t stop you to achieve your goals and never give up on your dreams
