A Honda City car – driven by a 30-year-old woman – rammed into a taxi and a scooter in Bengaluru on 18 September.
Ola cab driver Shekhar Ramachandra, 35, said a car hit his vehicle from behind around 7.30pm. “I got down to check the damage. But no one came out of the other car,” he said.
Meanwhile, the scooterist, Farhan Ahmed, came running and told Shekar that the woman had hit his scooter too. “The woman sitting in the driver’s seat was kissing another woman. They did not stop and apologise for the accident,” Ahmed said.
The woman driver however, told police that she was blowing air into her friend’s eye as the latter had complained of irritation in it. A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against the woman.
