Woman celebrated Thanksgiving with accidentally invited teen


Mesa, Ariz: An Arizona lady who unintentionally messaged an outsider a welcome to Thanksgiving supper followed through on her offer, welcoming the teenager guest with an embrace and a stove brimming with nourishment after their story went viral through web-based social networking sites.

Wanda Dench prepared two turkeys and set up a long table in the patio of her rural Phoenix home Thursday before she and her family made a beeline for sit tight for Jamal Hinton, 17, according to the media reports.

“I’m so glad you came,” Dench said as they grasped.

“I am as well,” Hinton said.

The mistake happened after Dench included what she believed was her grandson’s number on a gathering content a week ago welcoming a few relatives to supper. Yet, he had changed his number and forgot to tell her.

Rather, the content went to Hinton. They understood the oversight after the two exchanged photos however Hinton inquired as to whether he could “in any case get a plate.” Dench reacted, “obviously you can. That is the thing that grandmothers do.”
