BJP Party is likely to project Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh as the party's main face for 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections.
According to relaible source, If this happens then Rajnath Singh will be in direct competition with regional giants like Mulayam Singh Yadav of Samajwadi Party and Mayawati of Bahujan Samajwadi Party. Rajnath Singh previously served as the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and as a Cabinet Minister in the Vajpayee government.
The former BJP president is playing a crucial role in hectic lobbying for the 11 Rajya Sabha seats from Uttar Pradesh.
