THE West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) will soon have to look for a new chief executive officer. West Indies Cricket Board's chief executive Michael Muirhead will step down from his position after a four-year stint in the role. Muirhead's contract was up for renewal on October 14, but he has opted to quit the WICB.
a news agency investigations yesterday revealed that Muirhead will demit office on October 14. The CEO later confirmed his pending departure from the WICB’s Antigua-based secretariat. “It is not an easy job. I just think it’s time [to move on]. It’s been four years. I still have some designs on doing something with the board. I’m working on that, but I’m stepping down as CEO,” he told.
