They giggle and politely say Ishant Sharma is “strictly OK” — “it’s always funny to watch other sportsmen play our sport”. The five sisters are perfectly qualified to pass judgment on anyone’s hoop skills given they’ve represented India at various times over the last ten years.

The love birds met each other in 2011, when the lanky India pacer turned up as chief guest for Delhi's Reebok IGMA Basketball Association (RIBA) League and was 'clean bowled'. As per the report, Ishant chose to not sit stoically on the white VIP sofa on the dais, and instead hopped across the court to mingle with players. He was common buddies with Pratima's sister no. 4 Akanksha's St Stephen's College classmate. It was during this event when the Delhi pacer struck a friendship with Pratima, who'd dropped by to help her sister Divya organise the meet five years ago. The Delhi-lad has never been in the news for his personal life unlike his other Team India mates.
According to Pratima, the Indian pace spearhead is a very decent and caring person. "He's the most decent guy around and extremely caring. We have been dating for quite a few years and I feel he's the best guy in the world," Pratima was earlier quoted as saying.
