Instant messaging service WhatsApp on Wednesday declared new album, filter highlights as well as a reply shortcut for iPhone clients.
With the new reply shortcut, clients can now simply swipe right on any message and begin typing response.
“When clients send or get a collection of at least five photographs or recordings, they will automatically be grouped together as an album, making a tile display within messages. When clients tap on the album, they will see the collection of photographs and recordings in full screen,” the organization said in an announcement.
Clients can now add filters to photographs, recordings, and GIFs right within the WhatsApp camera.
Simply capture or select media that is already on phone and swipe up to pick a filter. Clients can choose five options including pop, black and white, cool, chrome, and film.
In May, WhatsApp launched pinned chats feature for all Android clients.
The messaging platform additionally updated its “Status” highlight that allows clients to share pictures and recordings to their contacts on WhatsApp in a secure way.
