CHENNAI: The most popular cricket player Sunil Gavaskar scored 13 hundreds against West Indies in earlier matches before he got retired from the matches. Many Indian players feels that they can win elections in West Indies. Likewise, Chris Gayle also feels that he can win elections in Bangalore City.

Currently, Chris Gayle is the brand ambassador of India Cements TNPL. He asserted that “T20 leagues will continue to prosper. He feels that the concentration lapses are letting the West Indies team down in Test cricket.”

“Nice to be back in India. The games in the USA went on well. Can be good market for cricket as well, international cricket,” he said.

“Mini IPL will be huge. There are many Indians and West Indians in the US, so will be a good mix of fans.” He added.

In the Indian Premier League, West Indies have showcased their outstanding performance but in test series they had not showcased their best. “For men, Chris Gayle is here and Stafanie Taylor will make a huge impact for ladies. The combination is great as we are naturally talented and have great all-rounders. With this mixture, West Indies will be a great team,” Gayle said.

“If we look at both forms of the game, we should actually concentrate for long periods of time. It’s not just now, it’s been the case from the time I made my debut under the captaincy of  Brian Lara. We tend to play some short sessions well, and win few sessions and then switch off and tend to lose steam,” Gayle said.
