New Delhi: CBI has filed charge sheet against a candidate and a middleman for allegedly helping 29 examinees in getting admission to MBBS course through forgery and impersonation in pre-medical test conducted in 2008, 2009 and 2011 by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board also known as Vyapam.
The investigators have accused a candidate and a middleman of helping 29 aspirants crack pre-medical tests to secure admission to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College in Jabalpur through forgery and impersonation in 2009, 2009 and 2010.
The middleman, who was absconding since the local police filed a First Information Report against him, was arrested in May. He is in judicial custody right now. "The investigation revealed that the candidate took the assistance of one impersonator in the written examination of PMT-2009 with the help of middleman." a CBI spokesperson said.
