Volvo Cars says to employ 400 engineers to initiate hightech push


Chinese-owned Volvo Car Group said on Tuesday it would select around 400 new engineers over the coming year to reinforce advancement endeavors in wellbeing innovation, self-sufficient driving and zap.

The enrollment drive, which Volvo said was one of its biggest ever, comes as the producer is getting a charge out of lively offers of an armada of new, up-business sector models as it hopes to set its position in a premium auto market ruled by bigger adversaries.

Volvo, purchased by China's Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. from Ford Motor Co. in 2010, said in an announcement a large portion of the specialists joining the organization would be based at its innovative work focus in Gothenburg, in western Sweden.
