Violence kicks off in Uttarakhand between two groups over social media post


DEHRADUN: After the post of minor boy on social media, the violence took place between two groups in Satpuli area of Uttarakhand’s Garhwal district.

The clashes started in Uttarakhand after a minor boy allegedly shared an disgusting photograph of the Kedarnath temple on social media platform, Facebook.

As per the¬†reports, the protesters belonging to the Bajrang Dal and other right-wing organisations destroyed the vegetable shop associated with the minor’s folks.

Looking at the condition’s kindliness, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and District Magistrate (DM) reached to¬† the area.

“We are trying to nab the one who originally posted the inflammatory picture of the Kedarnath shrine and normalise the situation,” they added.

As per the eyewitnesses, the protesters uproaring pro-Hindu slogans were challenging that the accused must be detained.
