Kerala court issues death sentence to labourer in Dalit woman rape case


A Dalit woman, Jisha was violently raped and assaulted by using sharp-edged weapons before being murdered at her house which left at least 30 injuries, including in her private parts. She was brutally raped by migrant worker from Assam; this heinous crime leads to protests in a state. It was one of the rarest cases at the time of verdict Ameer Ul Islam didn’t show any repentance for the brutal crime he did to a law student.
