2 cups cooked chickpea / Chana
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
2 chopped Spring Onion
Salt to taste
1 tsp Chilli Powder
2 tsp Cumin Powder
3/4 cup to 1 cup Breadcrumbs or Gram flour
Oil for Pan frying
Steps to cook:
Take chana, oil and all the ingredients except breadcrumbs. Make a paste of these ingredients in a blender
Take this mixture in a bowl and then add in breadcrumbs or gram flour. Mix well.
Take small portion and shape it into a tikki.
Heat little oil in a pan.
Place the tikki in and cook for 2 to 3 mins till each side turn golden.
Serve the hot veg shammi kabas with chutney and onion rings.
