Varanasi: 17-yr-old girl stabbed to death


Varanasi: A 17-year-old teenage girl was stabbed to death on Tuesday by some eve-teasers in Baansdih Road police station area. The girl was immediately rushed to nearby hospital, where she was affirmed brought dead. An FIR was filed next to five persons under sections 302, 354, 348 and 345 of IPC.

Police detained the main accused Prince Tiwari and introduce a haunt operation to nab others. Police officials conveyed that, the girl recognized as Ragini Dubey, resident of Bajaha village, was a 12th class student at private school in Salempur.

When she was going to school on her bicycle, some youths stopped and started teasing her close to Kali temple. When she opposed one of them pushed her and assaulted her with a knife and ran away from spot.

The girl sustained several stabbing grievance later declared bought dead by doctors. The body was sent for postmortem. On getting information, police officials rushed and succeeded in nabbing one of the accused.
