A person was detained on Wednesday in California province of US for his involvement with Islamic State, reported New York Federal Prosecution.
In a criminal complaint in the Brooklyn Federal Court, Bernard Augustine (21) is alleged to have gone to Tunisia in February 2016, where he tried to enter the territory controlled by Islamic State in Libya.
According to the prosecution, Bernard is blamed of making efforts in providing assistance to a foreign terrorist organization. He several times articulated his support for Islamic State and brutal jihad. The accused even had studied about how to join the group.
