United Kingdom announced on Wednesday that it will offer scholarships of worth Rs 85 crores to Indian students.
This initiative has been taken by the university so that the candidates can pursue international courses from the university.
The information was given by the director of British Council East India, Debanjan Chakrabarti. He affirmed that around 198 new scholarships will be given to the aspirants under the 'Great' campaign.
Under this scholarship, students can pursue courses wide range of courses ranging from art and design to engineering, law and management
The candidates will get a scholarship of worth Rs 85.1 crore under this campaign
Chakrabarti said, "We believe that the problems and challenges Indian students will be addressing over the next 50 years will need global solutions and that unique experiences, knowledge, networks and confidence gained from a world-class UK higher education course."
