‘Ultimate Duty’ Is To Prevent Le Pen Victory: Outgoing French President Hollande


On Monday in leading newspaper of Europe interviews Outgoing French President Francois Hollande said that his “definitive obligation” was to keep a triumph of far-right National Front leader Marine Le Pen in the current year’s race.

“My definitive duty is to ensure that France is not won over by such a program, and that France does not hold up under such a substantial duty,” said Hollande of the danger of a Le Pen triumph in the race.
