Bangaluru: Uber Technologies has suspended its UberMoto services in Bangaluru on Wednesday. uberMoto which was operated from the last two months was violating rules, after Karnataka government cracked down on bike taxis. The pilot project was a first of its kind in the country and was started in Bangaluru.
Its competitor Ola had already withdrawn the OlaBike service in March, soon after the State transport department termed it illegal. The services have been launched in March this year and the RTO department had seized close to 100 two-wheelers operated by Uber.
