Two road mishaps, Seven killed and five injured

JAISALMER: The number of road accidents has increased in past one month as the repair work on Jaisalmer-Jodhpur road has been lying unattended for the last one month. On Saturday evening in two separate incidents seven people were killed and five were injured. The deceased include personnel of military engineering service who were going home on leave and in another incident four died including a woman who were returning to Bikaner after attending a religious sermon at Ramdeora.

As reported by sources, Jaislamer via Phalodi and Jaisalmer via Pokhran routes are being repaired. In any case, the work has been inadequate for over a month as installment has not been made to the workers. Two mischances occurred on Saturday in which a family from Gopshwar Basti, Acharyon ki Basti in Bikaner were including two youngsters and a lady and four were harmed close Khara zone in Phalodi. The harmed were admitted to a healing facility in Phalodi from where they were alluded to PBM Hospital. One kicked the bucket while experiencing treatment.

The three were slaughtered and two others were harmed. The harmed have been admitted to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur.
