JAISALMER: The number of road accidents has increased in past one month as the repair work on Jaisalmer-Jodhpur road has been lying unattended for the last one month. On Saturday evening in two separate incidents seven people were killed and five were injured. The deceased include personnel of military engineering service who were going home on leave and in another incident four died including a woman who were returning to Bikaner after attending a religious sermon at Ramdeora.
As reported by sources, Jaislamer via Phalodi and Jaisalmer via Pokhran routes are being repaired. In any case, the work has been inadequate for over a month as installment has not been made to the workers. Two mischances occurred on Saturday in which a family from Gopshwar Basti, Acharyon ki Basti in Bikaner were including two youngsters and a lady and four were harmed close Khara zone in Phalodi. The harmed were admitted to a healing facility in Phalodi from where they were alluded to PBM Hospital. One kicked the bucket while experiencing treatment.
As indicated by police sources, the general population were coming back from Ramdeora when close Khara, their auto lost control because of a tremendous pothole and upset. Mani Devi (50), Akshita (5), Mannat kicked the bucket on the spot while 33-year-old Manish Acharya, his significant other Sumitra, Sulekha and 10-year-old Yug Kumar were harmed. Manish passed on while experiencing treatment at PBM Hospital in Bikaner. The auto was completely harmed.
In another occurrence, Jhanwar police headquarters officer said Mukesh Choudhary (26) working with MES, and occupant of Salawash, Jodhpur, Pinikesh Kumar Meena (30), inhabitant of Sawai Madhopur and Tabij Mohammad (30), occupant of New Delhi were going home in a private auto on leave when the auto lost its money owed to a pothole and hit a tree. The three were slaughtered and two others were harmed. The harmed have been admitted to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur.
SP Gaurav Yadav communicating irritation over the street works lying pending for most recent one month on Jailsamer-Jodhpur street coordinated the contractual worker worried to complete the work at the soonest.
