Two arrested in Rs 2.48 lakh loot case

Almost two days after an accumulation specialist of Saras Dairy was robbed, the police have captured two people in this association.

As per police, two individuals hit one Jitendra Pal Singh, an accumulation man of Saras Dairy with iron rods and decamped with a money bag containing Rs 2.48 lakh. After the occurrence the police started an examination and a group was constituted to catch the attackers.

“In light of particular information and tip off by the witnesses our team figured out how to capture two people recognized as Pawan Kumar Verma(22) and Bhupendra Kumar(22) were first detained and were arrested,” said Kunwar Rastradeep, deputy commissioner of police(East).

In the cross examination the denounced Pawan Kumar Verma said that he was preparing for competitive exam for the employment of LDC while another blamed Bhupendra Kumar working as computer operator. “Both had taken money on credit and thus to repay their loan they planned to rob the victim,” he added.
