NEW DELHI: Twenty two motors disclosed a new prototype of an electric scooter which it plans to launch early next year.
The scooter, which is called as Flow, is powered by a lithium ion battery which can be charged within a span of two hours enabling the vehicle to travel a distance of 80 km.
Twenty Two Motors CEO and Co Founder Parveen Kharb told that they have set up a plant at Bhiwadi with a production capacity of 300 units a day. In the first year of the launch itself we are looking at sale of 50,000 units.
Enlarging on the features, he said the scooter can go up to 60 km per hour and would be launched with dual battery option.
Kharab said that it is expected to priced between Rs 65,000-70,000.
Commenting on the smart features, he added that the scooter has geo fencing which provides security against theft.
