Tweeter War : Irani takes on Bihar mantri for addressing her as ‘dear’


Patna : Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani and Bihar Education Minister Ashok Chaudhary on Tuesday indulged in a verbal duel on Twitter, triggered by the use of ‘dear’ word by Chaudhary. It started with a tweet from Choudhary which said "Dear @smritiirani ji, Kabhi rajneeti aur bhashan se waqt mile toh shiksha neeti ki taraf bhi dhyan dein (Dear Smriti Iraniji, if you get time from politics and speeches, please pay attention towards education policy)… when will we get New Education policy ..? When will year 2015 end in your calendar..?"

Irani responded by saying, "@AshokChoudhaary mahilaon ko `dear' keh ke kab se sambodhit karne lage Ashokji (Since when you started addressing women as `dear', Ashokji?" Choudhary retorted, "… Not to disrespect but educate…Professional emails start with "dear".

Irani was then trolled on twitter. @Pa telSaral007 tweeted, "Madam, Had you went to collegeuniversity , you would know that its a common practice to address ppl as "Dear". Irani responded, "Grammar theek karo beta."
