TV Actress Alka Kaushal sent to prison for two years over money laundering case


Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame and TV Actress Alka Kaushal has been sent to prison in Punjab for a term period of two years in a cheque bounce case on Monday.

Alka was seen in film reports popular shows Swaragini and Qubool Hai , where she was featured in a negative role.

The reports revealed that Alka Kaushal has been culprit of not giving back Rs 50 lakh to a colleague. She has been accused of money laundering case and burglary as her two cheques of amount Rs 25 lakh got bounced at the banks.

Alka and er mother theatre actor Vishwa Mohan Badola has also been sent to prison.

The reports revealed, “Advocate Sukhbir Singh said that Alka and her mother had borrowed 50 lakhs from an acquaintance, Avtar Singh. The money was borrowed with the promise of serial-making. When Avtar asked Alka to give back her money, he got 2 cheques of 25 lakhs each. But they got bounced. After that Avtar, filed a case against Alka and her mother in Malerkotla court.”

In 2015, Alka faced two years of imprisonment  which Alka Kaushal had circumvent by requesting the Sangrur Court. At the moment, Sangrur’s district court stopped the order of Malerkortla court. Unluckily, following two years, Sangrur’s district court took decision to validate the order of Malerkortla court.
