Tumhari Sulu: Vidya Balan to recreate Sridevi’s magic of song ‘Hawa Hawai’


Mumbai: Actress Vidya Balan is ready for her upcoming film ‘Tumhari Sulu’. The latest reports revealed that Dirty Picture actress will pay tribute to Sridevi in her movie. Yes! Her fan followers will notice her dancing on the song ‘Hawa Hawai’ (from the 1987 blockbuster, ‘Mr. India’).

Film ‘Tumhari Sulu’ is produced by T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment. It is directed by famous director Suresh Triveni.

The song is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, who also transformed Humma Humma and Tamma Tamma songs. The song will be sung by famous singer Kavita Krishnamurthy while Rajeev Surti will choreograph the song in June.

“I am elated to have such a cult number in the film. It plays a key role in the film and is not just a remix for the end credits. Our intention is to pay a true tribute to the original and revive it in its full glory. I am looking forward to the flower power team of Vidya and Neha (Dhupia) to break a leg,” Director Triveni stated.
